Why eneloop?

In this chapter, we will look a bit closer to eneloop and ask, why is eneloop better than other batteries. 

In particular we want to explain, why eneloop is better than:

• classical NiMH rechargeable batteries

• disposalbe alkaline batteries.

• We will explain, why self-discharge is an issue to worry about.

• We will show, that eneloop is as easy to use as a disposable battery

• We will show, that eneloop has even higher performance than other
   NiMH batteries or alkaline batteries in certain applications.

• We will shed some light on the environmental aspects

• And, last but least, we will have a look at the cost.
