Two sizes in various packagings
SANYO offers eneloop batteries currently in two sizes:

The AA batteries come in blister-packages of two, four and eight pieces, while the AAA Batteries come in blister-packages of two and four pieces. The eneloop combi-pack (HR3UTG-4UTG-8BP) contains four pieces AA and four pieces AAA batteries.
More than 80% of all batteries sold worldwide are either AA or AAA. Therefore SANYO has chosen these two most popular sizes for eneloop.
However, if you would like to use eneloop batteries also in other applications, which require larger battery sizes,
SANYO offers a solution: Adapters for C and D size.
With these adapters, eneloops of size AA can be used in equipment, which needs batteries of size C or size D. Please note, that the adapters only change the mechanical dimensions of the battery and not its electrical specification.
