One of the most important specifications of a rechargeable battery is the cycle life, i.e. the number of charge / discharge cycles a battery can withstand without loosing it´s capacity.

The cycle life is also one of the most difficult parameters to determine, as many other factors can influence the cycle life.

With the new characteristics of eneloop Sanyo could increase the cycle life to nearly a triple of the level of a standard rechargeable battery. You may now recharge eneloop up to 1.500 times and more.
